Heat-constrained modelling of calcium sulphate reduction

چکیده

A two-dimensional finite difference model has been developed to describe the reduction of kilogram quantities dehydrated phosphogypsum. The model's scope limited focus on heat transfer and reactions that occur within a mass material contained in vessel inside furnace rather than also including effects vessel. Changes properties (k, p, Cp) are incorporated as composition changes chemical progress. is validated against experimental data, with samples heated iooo°C at 3°C min-1 while purging nitrogen gas. sensitivity analysis predictions pre-exponential factor reaction rate constant main thermal conductivity powder bed indicated that, envisaged process conditions, behaviour system depends much more reaction. demonstrated significant increase accuracy when was modelled linearly temperature compared assuming value.
